    Error: Failed to open a connection to the Nintex Workflow configuration database

    Summary
    When attempting to access the Nintex Workflow configuration database the below error occurs. Failed to open a connection to the Nintex Workflow configuration database

    Solution
    1. Open IIS console to confirm the service account running the web applications.
    2. Open SQL Management Studio > Security > Logins.
    3. Ensure the service account exists in the list of logins.
    4. If the account does not exist, right click on it, go to user mappings and make sure the Nintex database(s) are ticked and that the "WSS_Content_Application_pools" Role is added.
