    Message "Database is up to date, but some sites are not completely upgraded" in SharePoint

    Status: Validated

    ISSUE
    When viewing SharePoint databases, some databases have the following message:

    Database is up to date, but some sites are not completely upgraded
    ERROR CODE
    RESOLUTION
    1. Go to Central Admin > Upgrade & Migration.
    2. View the Databases that need upgraded.
    3. Fix database upgrade status with PowerShell cmdlet: Upgrade-SPContentDatabase "DatabaseName"
    4. Once the process completes, navigate back to the "Manage Databases Upgrade Status"page in Central Admin and verify that the status is "No action required."

    Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.SharePoint.PowerShell -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue

    Upgrade All content Databases:
    Rather doing it one by one, upgrade all content databases in a single stretch.

    #Get all content databases of the particular web application
    $ContentDBColl = (Get-SPWebApplication -Identity $WebAppURL).ContentDatabases
     
    foreach ($contentDB in $ContentDBColl)
    {
     #Updade each content database
     Upgrade-SPContentDatabase -id $contentDB.Id -Confirm:$false
    }
