    Removing "=?utf" from the subject line of notification emails

    Summary
    How to remove "=?utf" from the subject of email notifications generated by Nintex Worklfow task actions.

    Solution
    1. Navigate to Central Administration > Nintex Workflow Management > Global Settings
    2. Scroll to the Email Settings > Character Set section
    3. If the drop-down shows "not specified", we recommend you select the option "65001 (Unicode UTF-8)"

    If you want the option to take effect immediately you will need to reset IIS on all the farm servers; otherwise it will take approximately 15 minutes. This should repair the email encoding issue.
